South Hall CrossFit is located on Spout Springs Road in Flowery Branch, GA. We offer a well-equipped and maintained facility with plenty of class times to fit your busy schedule.
We’re not your typical gym. You won’t come in here and hit the elliptical or mindlessly run on the treadmill. Thats why we work. We are different.
Here you get to train with a coach EVERY class. Our classes are predesigned for you, and modified to your fitness level. You receive individualized coaching every time you come to the gym.
Here, you will find that pushing yourself feels good. You will find a community of people unlike any other; people who care about whether or not you show up for a workout. You will find resources and ideas for healthy eating. You will finally find that thing that “makes a difference” or that routine you can stick to…or you could pay $45 a month for a globo gym that you never use.
Alec started his CrossFit journey 5 years ago and has loved every painful minute since. CrossFit Level 1 Certified, Alec is glad to be part of a community where it is all about helping each other and helping people achieve things they never thought was possible of themselves. Growing up, Alec played every sport he could and his passion for competition and fitness has led him to CrossFit and helping others achieve a happier and healthier lifestyle.
Swimming was my sport of choice growing up. After graduating college, I needed something to fill my competitive void and lose my “fluff”. I began Crossfit in hopes of increasing my endurance – I really wanted to be a cardio bunny. Not long after starting Crossfit, I fell in love with lifting and the changes I began to see in my body. In 2013 I became a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer in hopes of expanding my knowledge of safe and proper movement patterns. I have been on a quest ever since to learn as much as I can in hopes of inspiring others to meet their full potential and to leave my community better than I found it.
The love for fitness began when I was little on the swim team and grew into a daily run that I would use to cope as a teenager. I continued that coping mechanism as an adult and continued to run. After having my first child I got a job at a local gym and immersed myself in group fitness classes. I became a certified spin instructor and taught spin classes until a high risk pregnancy kept me from doing so. Years later I was training for a triathlon and my mother asked me to join CrossFit with her. I reluctantly joined with hopes that I would gain strength to be a better triathlete. After the triathlon I changed my focus to CrossFit. Six months after joining I earned my L1 and began coaching. I love CrossFit because it is always pushing me as an athlete and as a coach. There is always room for improvement. My journey began at South Hall CrossFit and has become a second home for me. I look forward to continuing this journey and welcome all to try.
